October Reading Connection - Beginning Edition - Tips for reading success for Mease students.

Food Pantry Drive - letters are being sent home with students asking for help in stocking the local food pantry.  These letters will give you a list of what items are in the greatest need.  Students can bring items or coins to school now through October 10th.  Thank you in advance for  generosity! 

The next PATHS meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the Mease Board Room.  All parents of elementary students attending Mease or Taft Elementary are welcome and encouraged to join us for meetings the second Tuesday of every month.  See you there! 

Wrestling Apparel Orders - For anyone interested in ordering wrestling clothing.  It will be here in advance of the wrestling season.  Wrestling club put this together for our district.

Lion's Club Vision Screenings - members of the local Lions Club will be here October 17 and 18 to do free vision screenings on all of our students.  Permission slips will be sent home today.  Please complete and return the permission slip by October 13th.  If your child wears glasses and are under the care of an eye doctor they will not be screened.  

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 30 and November 2 from 4:00-7:30 p.m..  Note this is a Monday and Thursday evening since Halloween is Tuesday, October 31st.  Please complete the Mease Parent Teacher Conference Form by October 2nd.  This will give you the opportunity to request which evening will work better for your family.  Thank you to everyone who already responded to the emailed link sent out earlier this week.  We will try to accommodate as many requests as possible.  In mid-October you will get a notification of your assigned meeting time.   

Wildcat Wrestling Club - Registration and Parent Night will be held on Thursday, October 12th from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria for wrestlers in grades Preschool through 1st Grade.  See attachment for registration form, costs and important dates.  If you have questions please contact Ryan Fredin at 368-0755 or Chris Clarken at 368-1666.

October 3 & 4 is National Walk To School Days.   If you would like to walk to Taft Elementary on one or both of these days, Mr. Bruder is going to be at the Soccer Field (Also called Old Football Field) on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:30 in the morning.  On October 4 he will be at John Brown Park at 7:30 in the morning.  Join him for a walk to school.  Mease students can then ride the school bus up to their school from Taft. 

Lifetouch School Pictures will be taken on October 5th.  Order forms have been sent home with students.  All students will be photographed for the yearbook regardless if they are ordering portraits or not.  You can pay for portraits online or send the packet back to school with your child.  If you need additional order forms please contact the school.

Music Booster Activity Calendar - these calendars are for sale in all school offices.  Cost is $5.00.
