From the Business Office - Effective 11/2/2017 the online payment 'convenience fee' (on Infinite Campus) will change to $3.00 per transaction.

NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 3rd.  The office will also be closed.  Have a nice weekend! 


  • If you cannot make your scheduled time please contact your child's teacher ASAP so the meeting can be rescheduled.

  • Flu Shot Clinic will be held at Taft and the Middle School during conferences tonight.
  • Check the lost and found for any items your child is missing. We already have a few jackets and coats we have collected.

  • The office will be open during conferences.  You can make payments on lunch accounts or other fees owed at this time.  If you do not have parent portal and would like to gain access please stop by to get instructions.

Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend.  Remember to move your clocks back when you go to bed Saturday night.  Enjoy your extra hour of sleep!

November Breakfast and Lunch Calendar - There are several changes to the meal calendar that was sent home with the kindergarten students.  The revised calendar is attached.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • November 6 - no ice cream sandwich (new change)

  • November 7 - pizza instead of hot dog

  • November 8 - cheese bread stick instead of garlic twist

  • November 13 - garlic cheese French bread instead of 3 cheese calzone

  • November 27 - taco in a shell instead of walking tacos

Pancake Day - November 16th will be Pancake Day at Mease.  Our local Lions Club will be preparing pancakes for all of our students.  EC-4 and EC-5 students will have a pancake and milk for their daily snack.  Kindergarten students will have pancakes, sausage, hash browns, juice and milk for lunch.   If you want to join your child for lunch that day please contact the office by 9:00 a.m. to order a tray.

After School Program - there is NO ASP on Wednesday, November 22nd due to the two hour early dismissal.

Lifetouch School Pictures have been sent home with all students.  If your child was absent on picture day they will be photographed on Retake Day which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th.  If you would like to have your child's picture retaken you must return the entire contents of the packet to school before November 14th.  Please note that the class composite picture will be delivered separately at a later date (after retake day).  If you have any problems with the prints please contact Lifetouch directly at 1-800-529-3039

From the Librarian -  MackinVIA ebooks are available to students . There is a great selection of nonfiction and fiction books for all ages @ www.mackinvia. SCHOOL DELAYS, EARLY OUTS, CANCELLATIONS - you should be getting a phone call, text or email depending on how your have your parent account set up in Parent Portal.  We also use the following means to communicate to the public.  Radio stations FM 97.7, FM 94.5 and FM 96.9 and TV WHO Channel 13.  We also have the school hotline that you can call at any time 332-9700.
