There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16th. There is a breakfast and lunch menu written on the calendar for that day but that is in error. We apology for any confusion this has caused. 

Music Booster Calendar Correction- This calendar shows no school on February 17 and 24. This is in error. There IS school on February 17 and 24. You may view the school calendar online at by clicking on the calendar tab then click on school year on the home page. 

Drill Team Clinic & Drill Team Night will be held on Saturday, January 28th at the Humboldt High School Gym.  All students in grades preschool through 8th grade are eligible to participate. Registration forms will be given to interested students at school or you can print off the attached registration form. Registration forms and payment need to be dropped off at any school by Thursday, January 12th. If you have questions please contact Christine Hardgrove

HHS After Prom Committee is hosting fundraisers in the month of January to help raise funds for After Prom activities. On January 31st there will be a pie social in the HHS Cafeteria from 5:00-7:30 during the HS Basketball game vs. Hampton-Dumont. The event is a free will offering; thank you for your support. 

Soup Supper on Friday Night  January 13th, in the Humboldt High School Cafeteria.  It is a Free-Will Donation.  Soup will be served from 5:00-7:00 during the HS Basketball game vs. Alden.  All proceeds will be donated to Meals From The Heartland, which is a service project for Humboldt Middle School students.  Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup will be served along with drinks and desserts.

Food Bank of Iowa- Mobile Pantry Program will be available on Wednesday, January 11th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Humboldt Co. Fairgrounds in the Event Center. For more information call the Food Bank at 515-564-0330

Vision Screening for 3rd Grade  - This is a new requirement for all 3rd Graders in Iowa. If your child has had a screening in the last year ask your provider to complete the screening form and return it to school. If your child has not had a vision screening over the past year he or she will need one by February 2017. The provider will need to complete the form and it will need to be returned to the school nurse. If you need a form or have any questions please contact Mrs. Hardgrove at
