Homecoming 2017 Elementary Spirit Dress up Days (these are different than the High School and Middle School).

  • Wednesday, September 27th - Denim Day

  • Thursday, September 28th - Favorite Holiday

  • Friday, September 29th - Blue and Gold 

Remember no face or body paint nor hair coloring is allowed at school.

If you ordered a Homecoming T-shirt they will be distributed on Wednesday.

Homecoming Parade - The Parade starts at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Taft Elementary.

Homecoming Dog Tags - Pre-order your dog tag at any school office by Wednesday, September 27th and pick it up at Thursday Thrill Night.  The cost is $5.00 and there will be a limited supply.  No need to send money to school; you will pay for it at Thrill Night.  

Thursday Thrill Night- Mark your calendar for this annual HOMECOMING event on September 28th from 5:00 - 8:00 in the High School Parking Lot.  There will be food and games for all ages as well as a raffle drawing for cool prizes.  Be looking for more information coming home with all students next week.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 30 and November 2 from 4:00-7:30 p.m..  Note this is a Monday and Thursday evening since Halloween is Tuesday, October 31st. Please complete the Taft Parent Teacher Conference Form by October 2nd. This will give you the opportunity to request which evening will work better for your family.  Thank you to everyone who already responded to the emailed link sent out yesterday.  We will try to accommodate as many requests as possible.  In mid-October you will get a notification of your assigned meeting time.

October 3 & 4 is National Walk to School Days.  If you would like to walk to Taft Elementary on one or both of these days, Mr. Bruder is going to be at the Soccer Field (Also called Old Football Field) on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:30 in the morning.  On October 4 he will be at John Brown Park at 7:30 in the morning.  Join him for a walk to school.

Wildcat Wrestling Club- Registration and Parent Night will be held on Thursday, October 12th from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria for wrestlers in grades Preschool through 1st Grade.  See attachment for registration form, costs and important dates.  If you have questions please contact Ryan Fredin at 368-0755 or Chris Clarken at 368-1666.

Lifetouch School Pictures will be taken on October 5th.  Order forms were sent home with all students this week.  All students will be photographed for the yearbook regardless if they are ordering portraits or not. You can pay for portraits online or send the packet back to school with your child.

Athletic Booster Club Orders- you design your own gear (sweatshirts, hats, t-shirts, bags, shorts, etc.) online at  Save $10 on any order using promo code: 7D7SVVF5 through September 30th.  All proceeds go to the Athletic Booster Club.

Music Booster Activity Calendar - these calendars are for sale in all school offices.  Cost is $5.00.
