Voter Registration

Students can register to vote on or after they are 17 1/2 years old on an election year.  Voter registration forms can be obtained in three ways:

• May be picked up at the Dakota City Court House Auditor’s Office located at 203 Main Street, Dakota City, Iowa  50529.
• Request to have one mailed to you by calling 515-332-1571.
• Download from the Secretary of State website www.sos.state.ia.us.  On the left side of the screen, there will be a menu.  Click on voter elections - then on the next screen click on voter registration
