Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress

New Iowa Assessments

In the Spring of 2019 all Iowa 3rd-11th grade students took a new computerized annual assessment called the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).  These new assessments are better aligned with the Iowa Core standards and provide a clear and accurate assessment of student learning outcomes.Student growth, proficiency and readiness indicators are reported.  On November 4, 2019 the Iowa Department of Education released the results to Iowa Schools.  Along with a mesurement of how we are meeting the Iowa Core we also utilize the results to determine individual student needs, group progress, and any adjustments in curriculum and/or instruction that need to occur.  Overall we are pleased with our “first-time” performance on this test.  See our School Summary Graphs.
