Rose Keolakhonevong is the chemistry teacher in the Science Department at Humboldt High School.  Mrs. Keolakhonevong uses a lab-based inquiry approach in her classroom, allowing her students to achieve high levels of academic rigor through authentic application of chemistry topics.  She also teaches some biology, advanced chemistry, and organic chemistry.  The variety of courses she teaches enables her to work with students over many grade levels, often times having the honor and pleasure of having some students multiple years in a row.  Her favorite thing about teaching in Humboldt is the amazaing and impressive student body, especially in regards to how willing and eager they are to face challenges inside and outside of the classroom.
