- The Student Senate will be hosting a Dance Marathon Event--So, what is Dance Marathon? Dance Marathon is a fundraising event and organization that helps families with children with lifelong illnesses and children's hospitals. With the help of DM we will be fundraising money within the couple of weeks between our assembly, 3/20 and our DM event on Saturday April 1st. At our event, The Student Senate has decided to have a Volleyball Tournament and snacks. We will also have families come and share their stories with us on how Dance Marathon has impacted them. Humboldt High School Graduate Emily Knight has been helping us tremendously with making this happen.
- The girls wrestling parents will be meeting in the media center tonight at 5:30 to do some scrapbooking for their banquet.
- Junior and senior parents are encouraged to make a donation to After Prom. The funds raised will go directly to providing a safe space for entertainment, food and prizes for all participants. Students are not charged to attend the event, as we want to make this event available to all juniors and seniors. Donations are accepted multiple ways. They can be dropped in the HS office, or by mailing your check to Michelle Sleiter at 815 Oak Hill Drive, Humboldt, IA 50548 or you can visit the following link for online donations.
