  • Senior Music Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 6 PM.
  • Student Senate will be hosting a Volleyball Tournament on Saturday April 1st from 6pm - 9pm to help raise money for Dance Marathon, an organization that fundraises money for ill children, their families and Hospitals. Please look in your email for a Google form from Ms. Stockdale to enter teams. Tickets for the event will be sold next week during Lunch, tickets will be $5 early admission and $6 at the door. All Volleyball Players and Spectators must pay to get in. Student Senate will also be doing fundraising during the week by collecting change all this week and next, give your change to a Student Senate member or Ms. Stockdale, selling doughnuts at Cats Cafe this Friday, March 24th and next Friday March 31st, Selling songs to be played during passing periods this Friday and Next Friday and selling baked goods during CATS time next Tuesday and Thursday, March 28th and 30th. All proceeds go to The Dance Marathon Organization. 
  • All prom information is in this link. The pre-prom and out of town guest forms are on the table outside of the office and will need to be returned to Mrs. Newton.
  • You're invited to shine under the spotlight at the 2023 Pre-Prom show on Saturday, April 22nd.  The show will start with the grand march at 8:15pm and the famous acts will follow until the dance starts at 9pm.  Please fill out the sign up form outside the office by Thursday, April 6th and turn into Mrs. Newton.
  • After Prom Student Registration--After Prom will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Middle School from 12:15 AM – 5:00 AM. All juniors and seniors planning to attend MUST register themselves and their out-of-town guests/underclassman by April 1, 2023. A release form for the activities will be emailed to the parent’s email address provided on the form and can be returned by email or to the high school office.   • Junior and senior parents are encouraged to make a donation to After Prom. The funds raised will go directly to providing a safe space for entertainment, food and prizes for all participants. Students are not charged to attend the event, as we want to make this event available to all juniors and seniors. Donations are accepted multiple ways. They can be dropped in the HS office, or by mailing your check to Michelle Sleiter at 815 Oak Hill Drive, Humboldt, IA 50548 or you can visit the following link for online donations.   • Academy Day will be held on Tuesday, April 4 in the Iowa Central Triton Café Boardroom., 4:30-7:00. Program begins at 5:00. Information will be presented on the US military academies. Students, parents, teachers and staff are invited to attend and learn more about the US Service Academies.
  • Humboldt Color Run for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness will be held on May 7 at 1:00 at the high school. Click on the following link for additional information and registration form.  Color Run
  • Seniors—please turn in your silver cord hours before April 1.
  • Sara Scharf from ICCC will be at the high school 12:30-2:30 on  April 11, April 25 and May 9. Sara will assist students with any questions they may have regarding enrolling for classes, FAFSA etc.
  •  Click on the following link for scholarship opportunities.  Scholarships   This link will be updated as additional scholarship opportunities are available.
  • CATS Time-students should select their CATs for Monday on Friday and select Thursday’s CATS on Wednesday. They shouldn't choose for Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays. Seniors have open campus during CATS—unless a teacher has selected you to be in their CATS, then you must report to that teacher.
  • FCA (Fellow of Christian Athletes) will meet on Wednesdays at 6:15pm at The Beach's House (44 Rainbow Dr. in Humboldt).  There will be a light supper, fellowship time, and a bible lesson.  Would love to have you join us and bring a friend! If you need a ride, let Mrs. Beach know and transportation can be arranged!
  • Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Dungeons and Dragons, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, RoboRally, Splendor and many more…Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game.
