  • Substate Soccer (May 20) ticket information--We will be using Hometown Ticketing.  We will not be allowing cash sales at the gate, all tickets must be purchased through Hometown Ticketing.  Tickets are $6.  Tickets will go on sale at Tuesday, May 18th at 9 a.m. Fans can go to the ticket page on the IHSAA website to purchase tickets at the following link: https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/  Good Luck, Cats!!
  • Good luck to athletes and coaches that are participating in state track this week!!!
  • There will be a an informational/sign-up meeting on Wednesday, May 19 at 2:30 for all 9-11 grade boys and girls who plan to run cross country this fall. Please meet in the HS cafeteria.
  • There will be a Girls Basketball meeting on Wednesday during Homeroom in Mr Mooney's room. Anyone who plans to play basketball next season should make plans to attend.
  • Silver Cord Opportunity--volunteers are needed to distribute new curricular materials on Friday, June 4th.  We will start at Alpha at 9:00 a.m.  Any volunteer help would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help, there is a signup sheet in the office. Sign up before May 28.
  • Silver Cord Opportunity--Boone Valley Betterment Association is looking for volunteers to help with the Renwick town celebration, June 5. If you are interested, please contact Abby Kunert at abbykunert@yahoo.com
  • Wildcat Football Camp—There will be a football meeting on Monday, May 24 @ 6PM in the gym for all who are interested in playing next fall.  Click on the link for the camp registration form. Wildcat Football Camp  
  • ALL student books due Friday May 21st. If students need to keep a book longer for a project, they can let Pam know in the library.
  • Semester Tests will be held Wednesday, May 26-Friday, May 28. The testing schedule will run as follows:

 Wednesday, May 26

Period 1 -- 8:15 to 9:45

Period 2 -- 9:55 to 11:25 

Lunch -- 11:25 to 12:25

Period 3 -- 12:25 to 1:55 

Work with teachers -- 2:00 to 2:45

 

Thursday, May 27

Period 4 -- 8:15 to 9:45 

Period 5 -- 9:55 to 11:25 

Lunch -- 11:25 to 12:25

Period 6 -- 12:25 to 1:55

Senior Information

  • Senior Breakfast—Thursday, May 20 9:00-high school cafeteria.
  • Graduation practice will follow the Senior Breakfast on Thursday, May 20.

 

 

  • Hawkeye Community College is committed to creating a culture where everyone is respected, appreciated, and valued.  As part of this commitment, the Inclusion Scholarship provides up to $1000 per year and opportunities for students to collaborate with peers to make valuable contributions that promote an inclusive campus climate. Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on involvement in inclusive activities and commitment to continuing these efforts at Hawkeye, regardless of high school GPA, test scores, or financial need. The priority deadline for this scholarship is May 31st, 2021. Scholarships will be awarded, June 30, 2021. The link to the scholarship application and additional details are provided below.

  • Summer opportunity: The Change The Game Design Challenge is Google Play’s initiative to build a more inclusive future through gaming and education. All students ages 13-18 can apply (no experience needed). Follow the link for more information and to enter. Deadline: July 31st.
