  • CATS Time-students should select their CATs for Monday on Friday and select Thursday’s CATS on Wednesday. They shouldn't choose for Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays.
  • High School Picture Day--Midwest Portraits will be here on September 13th to take school pictures. Parents should receive an email on September 22nd to view your child's photo.  If you want retakes, please sign up in the office by October 4th.  Retake day is October 6th.  The order deadline to avoid shipping and additional fees is October 14th.
  • Baseball  long toss for grades 8-12 on Saturday at 11:00 am. The session will last approximately 45 minutes.
  • Students—If you are walking to the convenience store from the school in the morning--you MUST use the crosswalk to cross the highway. Please listen to the crossing guard when going across.
  • The Humboldt Dance Team will be hosting 'fill the truck events' over the next couple of weeks.
    • At the volleyball game on September 13th from 5-7:30pm we will be set up at the high school near the back cafeteria/gym doors. We will be collecting animal shelter supplies: bleach, pinesol, pee pads, gloves, kong toys, taste of the wild dog food, honest kitchen dog food, redford grain free wet cat food, treats, red/blue kote, towels, martingale style collars, and slip leads. 
    • At the volleyball game on September 27th from 5-7:30pm we will be set up at the high school near the back cafeteria/gym doors. We will be collecting new/gently used blankets for animal shelters and homeless shelters.
    • At the Homecoming football game on September 30th from 6-7:45pm we will be set up at the high school between the admission gate and concession stand. We will be collecting clothing and food items for people in need. 
    • At all of these events, we will also have a bucket for monetary donations. The final proceeds from the collection bucket will be split between Moffitt, Peace Creak, and Lazy J Rescues. Several dance teams across the state participated in events like this last year. Humboldt was able to raise more money than any other team in the state! Follow the Humboldt High School Dance Team on Facebook to stay updated on the results from these community based fundraisers :)
  • Homecoming will be coming up before you know it. We want to make sure you’re informed. Homecoming week is Monday Sept. 26 through Friday Sept. 30th. Our dress up days are Merica Monday, Tropical Tuesday, Woke up Like This Wednesday, Adam Sandler Thursday, and Blue and Gold Friday. Congratulations to the Homecoming Court. Trever Beach, Ty Gargano, Jayden Gargano, Ty Schluter, Josh Thurm, Jennika Beach, Kali Beaman, Darby Dewinter, Tori Gargano, and Tricia Kellner. All grades have until the end of CATS time today to vote for the Homecoming King and Queen. The winners will be announced at Coronation on Thursday Sept. 29th at 7:30pm in the High School Gym. Thursday Thrill Night will follow after coronation. We will have a volleyball tournament, yard games, hotdogs, chips, little Debbie snacks, and bottled water to drink. Thursday Thrill will ONLY be open for Humboldt High school students. After the Homecoming game, we will have a dodgeball tournament and dance in the high school gym and cafeteria. Dodgeball signup is out. You can have up to 10 people on your team. There are no out of town guests allowed to the dance or dodgeball. The dance and dodgeball will end at 11:30 pm. There is a $5 admission fee.
  • Students, please do not park in the staff parking spots next to the sidewalk in the back parking lot.  Students who do so may face a parking fine and/or loss of parking privileges.
  • Band apparel order link: https://envisiontees.chipply. com/HumboldtHSband/  There are some great designs this year! All proceeds go back to the students. Orders are due by September 12-no exceptions! Excited to see all of our band apparel out there-thanks in advance for your support.
  • Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Dungeons and Dragons, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, RoboRally, Splendor and many more…Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game. See Mr. Lauger or Skyler Nielsen for more information.
