  • Do you want to help support a good cause?  Want a cool shirt too?  Click the link below to help support Mrs. Lane's fight against cancer.  Her fight is our fight!  T-shirts and Hoodies are available.  All ordering is online.  Delivery of shirts will be at the beginning of October, just in time to wear for Breast Cancer month.  Need more info, contact Mrs. Myers.  

  • FCA will kick off this week and you no longer have to wake up early to attend.  NEW meeting time is Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:00pm at Ted Beach's house (201 12th St. SW  Humboldt).  Join us for a light meal, fellowship, and lesson around the word of God!  See Mrs. Beach if you have any questions!

  • Forget to order last year's 2021 Yearbook? A few extras were ordered in and are for sale for $50. First come, first serve. Email Mrs. K at to claim one. 
  • Musical rehearsals for The Addams Family are every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm for ALL leads and ALL Ancestors unless specifically stated otherwise. If you are not needed on stage for blocking, you ARE needed in the music rehearsal. Always assume you are required at rehearsals each night. 
  • Freshman Dental Screening—All freshmen are required to have a dental screening prior to the beginning of the school year.. A form for each student must be on file with the school Screenings are valid for ninth graders from one year prior to enrollment to four months after enrollment date. If the school does not have a screening form on file, screenings will be available for freshmen on December 3, 2021. These screenings will be conducted by local dentists. If your child has had a screening at their regular dentist, or you have one prior to December 3, please submit the screening form to the school.
  • MAP testing is this week Monday (September 13) morning at 8:15.  Freshman through Junior should report to their first period classes to take the test.  Seniors do not take the MAP test and do not report to the testing period. Please see the testing schedule for details.

  • Silver Cord Opportunity—The Haunted Trail Committee is looking for students to help with the Haunted Trail. The committee chooses a senior student each year to receive scholarship. If you are interested in helping with the Haunted Trail, contact Cory Larson 319-830-7557.
  • School pictures will be taken at the high school on Tuesday, September 21. September 27 parents will receive a link from Midwest Photo to view and order pictures.
  • A representative for the Army will be on Sept. 16 from 11-1 in the cafeteria for students wanting more information on this military branch.
  • College representatives will be in our building to visit with our juniors and seniors. This is a great opportunity for students to receive information about the college and ask questions.
