  • Are you at least 16 years old and want to save lives? If yes, consider donating blood on Wednesday, February 26th, from 7:45-1:30 in the high school auditorium lobby. I’ve attached a permission form for students who are 16-17 years old. We need to weigh at least 110 pounds. Below is a link to sign up to give blood or ask a student senate rep for the QR code. Last year, we saved 153 lives by having 48 people donate blood. Out of those 48 donors, 28 of them were first-time donors!!! Isn’t that great? We hope to exceed this number. Free socks for your donation, as well as snacks afterward. Who doesn’t love free food? If you are worried about the needles, please talk to your teachers who have given blood several times. The nurses are so kind and very accommodating.

Once you sign up, you will get a pass excusing you from class that day and a reminder. Spread the word around town because community members are welcome, too. Thanks, everyone! Have a great week. Go, Cats!
