  • If you are traveling to Nevada next Monday, Oct. 18th there is some spectator info you will need to have: Important information to share with all parents & fans:

      • We will not have cash on hand to give change. Please plan accordingly.

  • The Senior class photo will be taken Friday, October 15 following 7th period. Seniors-please wear blue and gold. The photo will be taken on the bleachers at the football field.
  • Dance team will perform at half time of Friday’s football game.
  • FCA this week will be attending a Regional FCA Fields of Faith at the PAC football field in Pocahontas.  Coach Greg Thomas is the featured speaker.  We will meet in the high school parking lot and car pool there.  Pizza and cookies will be provided.  Please RSVP to Mrs. Beach so we have adequate food and rides!  This is an event you will not want to miss!  Join us!
  • PINK OUT Night during the volleyball games TONIGHT.  There will be a silent auction with several fantastic items.  Items include but are not limited to: a skydiving certificate, Iowa/Purdue football tickets, gift certificates, original artwork, and many more. There will be a free will donation dinner catered by Dom's Catering, HyVee and Fareway.  Dinner will include a pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a chocolate chip cookie.  The concession stand will be offering snacks and drinks for purchase.  Dinner will be available at 5:30PM. We would love to see you all at the game to help us promote breast cancer education and help support Mrs. Lane, a high school teacher, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We are matching last year's donation to the hospital from the volleyball team and then the rest of the funds are going directly to Emily
  • It's T-shirt time.  If you missed the first order for Mrs. Lane fundraiser shirts, here's your chance to order.  Order online at the link below.  Pick "IN STORE PICKUP" and the shirts will be delivered to the high school when the online store closes.  Shirts can be ordered through Monday, October 18th at 8:00AM.  Any questions, please contact Mrs. Myers. 
  • The theme for Friday’s football game is Twinning is Winning!
  • The dance team is hosting a fill the truck event at the home football game on October 15th. Donate new and gently used blankets to help support local homeless and animal shelters. Drop off location: Truck parked by the left field softball fence near the pass gate.
  • Humboldt has earned a 1st round bye in regional volleyball.  We will host the regional semifinal match here on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 PM vs. the Storm Lake/Spencer winner (10/19/21). Teams on the other side of the bracket include: Webster City vs. Waterloo East (10/19/21).  The winner will play Waverly-SR @ WSR on Oct. 21st. The regional final is at a site to be determined on Tuesday, Oct. 26th at 7:00 PM. All tickets for the IGHSAU postseason will be online purchase only. The IGHSAU is NOT using the same ticketing platform (Hometown Tickets) as the IHSAA. The IGHSAU is using a platform through Varsity Bound.   Here is the link:
  • Our school board and administrators believe strongly in shared leadership and decision-making. Once again we are inviting high school students to serve as members of our school board. We want to hear your voice for how we can better our school district. Video Description: This year, we are inviting a high school junior to serve from November 2021 through June of 2023. Next year, we’ll add a sophomore for a similar term so that each is rotating every other year. Applications can be picked up on the table outside of the office. Application due on November 5, 2021.You can submit it through mail, take it to the high school office for campus mail, or drop It off personally at Central Office across from the courthouse located in Mease Elementary School.  
  • Wrestling apparel—order deadline is Sunday, October 17 at 11:598PM
  • The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test Oct. 13 at 8:15 am..
  • Army National Guard and Air National Guard will be here during lunch on Oct 21
  • College representatives will be in our building to visit with our juniors and seniors. This is a great opportunity for students to receive information about the college and ask questions.
