Homecoming Dress Up Days at Mease and Taft:
Wednesday - Team Jersey Day
Thursday - Hat Day
Friday - Blue and Gold/Wildcat Spirit Day
**Please refrain from applying face paint to your child as we celebrate Homecoming.**
Student Drop Off - Please do NOT drop your child off in the bus lane at Mease. The bus lane is the entire area on the west side of the school that has a painted yellow curb. This area is reserved for school and MIDAS buses. Parents should park in a parking spot, if there is one available, or on the south side of the school. Thank you for your help in keeping the traffic flow safe for our students and other drivers.
Free Meals Clarification - Last week we sent an announcement that all students at Humboldt Schools will receive free meals until December 31st or until the excess of funds from the summer food program runs out. This started on Monday, September 14th. The only charge you should see on an elementary student’s account at this time is if they take an extra milk. The cost of an extra milk is 50 cents. If your child brings a cold lunch and needs milk they can get a carton; they will just be charged for the milk as normal. If you have questions please contact Michelle Thomas.
Activity Calendars - Humboldt Music Booster Calendars are available in all school offices while supplies last. The cost is $5.00 for a calendar.
Activity Tickets are available for purchase in any school office. Cost is $50 for a student in grades kindergarten through 4th grade. There is no charge for Preschool (EC-4) or EC-5 to attend regularly scheduled athletic events at Humboldt High School. We also have adult athletic tickets for sale at a cost of $45 for a ten punch pass.
