Following the Governor's advice, the Humboldt and Twin Rivers School Districts will be closed for four weeks starting Monday, March 16th. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, April 14th. The Taft office will be closed as well.
The Humboldt School District will provide free meals for all children between the ages of 0-18 starting on Tuesday, March 17th. Grab and Go Breakfast and Lunch meals can be picked up at the Taft main entryway between 7:00-10:00 a.m. The District will deliver meals to students who do not have access to transportation, please call Taft 332-3216, if you need this service. If no one answers, please leave a message at extension 6429.
PATHS Literacy Night scheduled for March 26th has been canceled. They are looking to reschedule. We will relay the new date to you if and when one is set. Thank you for your understanding.
Preschool Open House for 2020-2021 scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th has been postponed to a later date. You may still sign up a child who will be 4 years old by September 15, 2020 by contacting Michelle Thomas. Please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once a new date has been set we will share that with everyone who has signed up. Thank you for your understanding.

SCHOOL DELAYS, EARLY OUTS, CANCELLATIONS - you should be getting a phone call, text or email depending on how your have your parent account set up in Parent Portal. We also use the following means to communicate to the public. Radio stations FM 97.7, FM 94.5 and FM 96.9 and TV WHO Channel 13. We also have the school hotline that you can call at any time 332-9700.
