Message from Mr. Fedders
We are quickly approaching Thanksgiving in the next few weeks; our year is flying by! Yesterday, our grade level teams and individual classrooms each celebrated Veteran’s Day by reading a few short stories and discussing videos that explained the purpose of the day. Thank you to all that have served our country! Be sure to ask your child about what was discussed in their classroom.
We are excited to announce that we will continue to bring back some of the past events that have happened at Taft. On November 29th, we will be having our Fall Pancake Day. Thank you to the Lions Club for helping to provide this! Keeping consistent with what was done for our Halloween Parade, our building leadership team decided to hold this event with students only. Our goal is to have the spring date open to all visitors that would like to attend; by this time, everyone that will have wanted access to a vaccine for themselves or their student will have had the time to do so.
With the colder weather here, please help your students remember warm coats, hats, gloves( snow pants and boots too for snow). If you are in need of assistance obtaining these items, please contact the school as we have received a generous donation of various items and can also recommend different programs in the community.
PATHS is having a fall fundraiser. There is some awesome Wildcat gear you can purchase. These make great gifts for birthdays, Christmas or just for yourself! Just go to https://personali-tees-humboldt-iowa.myshopify.com/collections/paths and put in your order! Thank you for supporting our students! TODAY is the last day to order!
