  1. Incoming 7th and 8th graders have summer weightlifting starting May 31 at 6:15 a.m. Check the school website for the summer calendar.
  2. Time to think about football gear for next year. You can order at the following link. The ordering deadline is June 4. https://humboldt-fb23.itemorder.com/shop/home/
  3. All camp forms are available in the office or on the school website.

  5. Good luck to Zach Pate who will be competing in Ames on Friday for State Special Olympics in the shot put. 
  6. Any current 8th graders interested in participating in Cross Country next fall as freshmen will meet in Mr. Ross's classroom at 11:25 on Friday for a quick meeting.
  7. Lost and found items are in the cafeteria. Unclaimed items will be donated next week.
  8. The Humboldt Rec Department is opening up registration for Flag Football and Youth Volleyball in late summer and early fall! NFL Flag Football is being offered to children going into 1st through 6th grade. Coach Flag Football is available for Pre-K and Kindergarten children. Flag Football is open to both boys and girls. Youth Volleyball is also being offered for girls in 3rd though 6th grade. The deadline to register for these programs is July 31st. You can register online or in person at the Humboldt Rec Center.   9. Do not take phones to the Rec Center today. We will be sharing the Rec Center with the public. Leave a positive impression. Concessions will be available to purchase. 

The Humboldt 4th of July parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4th at 7pm. Students entering 8th-12th grade band will participate. Students entering 7th grade are invited to join and get in early on their first marching band experience! Details to follow closer to the parade. Parade marching band rehearsal (for all band members) will be scheduled from the following dates: Wednesday, June 28th, Thursday, June 29th and Friday, June 30th. Rehearsal times will be released via email and Remind this summer.

PARENTS: Any lost athletic clothing, library books, missing locks, book or computer fines, fees, etc. will be posted to accounts in Infinite Campus BY May 31st. Please pay all bills by June 9th. Any fees unpaid at that time will carry over to next year. Also make sure your lunch balance is current. Money left in student lunch accounts will carry over to next year.

The middle school office will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. starting May 30th through June 9th. After June 9th parents will need to contact Principal Smith or Assistance Principal Jenness.
