Literacy Enrichment

Clever Parent Letter:   At Mease and Taft (K-4) we use Clever to help students sign into the various apps. This program allows students to sign in with one username and password for *most* apps. Above you will find the instructions to set-up and use Clever on your computer at home.  If you need the clever login please contact your child’s teacher.

Newsela:  https://newsela.com/ Middle school has subscription (log in with Google); has free features as well.  Articles, quizzes, questions, for all subject areas (has articles in Spanish, too).

IXL:  https://www.ixl.com   Used mainly in literacy classes, but has math, Spanish, social studies, and science.  All can access 10 questions a day. Middle School has subscription. Login is lastname_firstinital year of grad@humboldtms and Chromebook login (example:  smith_j25@humboldtms.

Wacky Web Tales: https://www.eduplace.com/tales/ create wacky stories by plugging in different parts of speech
