  • Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Dungeons and Dragons, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, RoboRally, Splendor and many more…Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game. See Mr. Lauger or Skyler Nielsen for more information.
  • Humboldt High School is proud to present “Into the Woods” by Stephen Sondheim. Auditions will be held on August 29th at 4-6:30 & August 30th at 5-7:30 in the auditorium. Please be sure to have picked up an audition packet with music. Acting auditions will be a cold read (unrehearsed).  Please contact Mrs. Wiebke or Mr. Chavers if you any questions or are in need of an alternate audition time. 
  • Reminder that all students are to park in the west High School parking lot. This also goes for those attending the North Central Career Academy. The north lot in front of the Middle School/High School is designated for staff and visitors.
  • Please read the Parking Lot Handbook and register all vehicles with the online link. Registration is for safety purposes and for administration to be able to easily access the student if there is an accident, car lights left on, car alarm going off, etc. If there is a situation and the student is not registered, it may result in a school consequence or ticket. You must re-register every year. Thank you!
  • LAST YEAR'S SENIORS (class of 2022) can pick up their yearbooks in the high school office. All other high school yearbooks will be handed out this week. 
  • Sophomores—Please plan to meet with Craig Orness from Josten’s on Tuesday, September 6
  • Planners are available in the office and on the table outside of the office for any student that would like one.
  • As you may have heard, our food service is being administered by Opaa. The process will be slightly different, as students will be able to make more choices for their breakfast and lunch. Please be aware that there may be a charge for items above the “normal” lunch. This will be a learning process for students and food service staff, so please be patient with the process.   • Iowa DNR hunter safety class at the Humboldt County extension office. The minimum age for this class is 12 years of age. It is required for anyone 16 and over getting an Iowa-hunting license. The dates for the class are August 29, 30, 31. The class starts at 6:00 and ends at approximately 9:00. Pre registration is required for this class. The class size is limited to 25 students.
