  • The Humboldt girls finished 4th in the 12 team field at the Clear Lake Invitational Cross Country meet last night. Joslyn Orr (15th) and Kinzie Peyton (18th) led the way for the Wildcats with top twenty finishes. The JV girls finished in second place behind Ames in the JV team race. The JV girls had top ten finishes from Meg Zweibohmer (3rd); Lillian Holm (7th) and Morgan Mayall (9th) to lead the JV girls team. The varsity boys finished in 7th place out of the 13 competing teams. They were led by Jackson Chambers 17th place finish. Angel Burns finished in 14th place to lead the JV boys team to a 4th place team finish out of the nine complete JV teams. The Wildcat Cross Country teams will be back in action in their home invitational on Monday, September 20 at Joe Sheldon Park.
  • Everyday Study Hall forms are on the table outside of the office. If you need to request everyday study hall, complete the form and return to the tray on the table.
  • Do you want to help support a good cause?  Want a cool shirt too?  Click the link below to help support Mrs. Lane's fight against cancer.  Her fight is our fight!  T-shirts and Hoodies are available.   All ordering is online.  Please select "In Store Pick up." Delivery and distribution of all shirts will be at the high school at the beginning of October, just in time to wear for Breast Cancer month.  Need more info, contact Mrs. Myers.  Deadline for ordering is Sept. 24.

Members of the court will be recognized during half time of the game on Friday night.

  • Dress Up days: All days must follow dress code handbook-Monday: Camo Day-Tuesday (school picture day): Country or Country Club-Wednesday (no school) -Thursday: PJ-Friday: Blue and Gold day
  • Thursday, September 23 5:30 
    • Hometown Homecoming Event Get your homecoming party supplies!!! Businesses will have beads, tattoos, clothing, cups and more available for purchase.Food vendors will be on main street. Hot dogs, Burrito Mexpress, Kettle Korn.
    • 6:30  Homecoming Parade Line the streets to see our Wildcat sports teams, homecoming court, Wildcat Marching Band and other fun parade entries!!! Elementary students should be supervised by parent/guardian
    • 7:30 Coronation in the High School gym (free will donation)
    • 9:00-10:00 Seniors and Juniors Only decorate campus. All seniors and juniors will meet in the gym following coronation. All other students will be sent home

    • Mini Assemblies at Taft, Mease, St. Mary’s and Bode  
    • High school Pep Assembly at 2:45pm  
    • 7:00 PM Homecoming Football Game vs Ballard
    • Homecoming Dance and Black Light Dodge ball following the game until 11:30. The game and dodge ball game are for HIGH SCHOOL students only. NO OUT town of guests. $5 for admission.
  • Forget to order last year's 2021 Yearbook? A few extras were ordered in and are for sale for $50. First come, first serve. Email Mrs. K at to claim one. 
  • MAP testing is this week starting at 8:15.  Freshman through Junior should report to their first period classes to take the test.  Seniors do not take the MAP test and do not report to the testing period. Please see the testing schedule for details.

  • School pictures will be taken at the high school on Tuesday, September 21. September 27 parents will receive a link from Midwest Photo to view and order pictures.
  • College representatives will be in our building to visit with our juniors and seniors. This is a great opportunity for students to receive information about the college and ask questions.

Interested students need to sign up on the table outside the high school office. Please make prior arrangements with teachers for missed classes.
