Kindergarten Families Meet and Greet - All Kindergarten families are invited to a gathering on Kollmorgen Playground at Mease Elementary on October 1 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for a meet and greet. PATHS (Parents and Teachers from Humboldt Students) is hosting this is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of your child's friends and their family. Humboldt Homecoming Week is September 30 thru October 4.

Wednesday - Country/Western Day
Thursday - Jersey/Favorite Team Day
Friday - BLUE and GOLD Day; Go Wildcats!

National Walk to School Day is October 2nd. Mr. Bruder has selected two consecutive days you may walk to school with him. On Wednesday, October 2, he will meet the students at John Brown Park. The walk to Taft will begin at 7:30 a.m.. On Thursday, October 3, he will meet students at the Old Football Field (soccer field) walking to Taft at 7:30 a.m.. Parents are invited to join the walk and Mease students can ride the bus from Taft to Mease. Students will be able to eat breakfast at school as normal. Let’s see if we can get a lot of you to walk to school with Mr. Bruder!
Humboldt County Little Clover Kids - This is a program offered once a month for students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Registration is due to the Humboldt County Extension office by September 25th. If you have questions please contact the Humboldt County Youth Coordinator, Kiersten Beilke, at email@example.com.
Iowa KidSight Vision Screening - our local Lions Club will be at Mease to screen all students on September 25 and 27. Consent forms will be sent home with all students. They cannot screen without consent. If you child has seen an eye doctor within the last year the screening is not necessary. If you have questions or need a new form please contact our elementary nurse, Mrs. Hardgrove at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parent Portal - all parents have the ability to access their student’s Infinite Campus profile. For elementary students this includes checking meal account balances, making payments, updating phone numbers, addresses, etc. As your child gets older you will be able to see their schedule and their grades. If you would like to gain access please email Michelle Thomas, email@example.com to obtain your activation key and instructions. You will be able to see all of your children who are enrolled in Humboldt Schools with one sign in and password.
Music Booster Activity Calendars are available in the offices while supplies last. The cost is $5.00 each.
Student and Adult Athletic Passes are available for purchase in the offices. Adult passes are a ten punch ticket for $45. Student activity tickets are $50 for grades KG - 4th and $55 for grades 5th - 12th. These passes are good form all athletic activities except benefits games and tournaments. Admission is not charged for Preschool (EC-4) and EC-5 students.
