This year the Humboldt Lions Club will be offering a FREE vision screening to help ensure children are properly assessed for sight conditions. Children ages 3 through kindergarten are welcome to come.  This year instead of coming to school, we are partnering with Three Rivers Eye Care in Humboldt. Please bring your child to the office located at 10 Taft St. S., Humboldt.  Currently the dates are Thursday, October 15th and Thursday, October 22nd from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. You must bring the consent form that was sent home last week when you go to your appointment .  Please go to the website:  threeriverseyecarehumboldt.com and use the link to sign up for a time slot. If you are unable to make either of those dates and wish to participate please call Three Rivers at 332-2950 to set up a time.

PATHS (Parents and Teachers for Humboldt Students) will meet Tuesday, October 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the Rec Center Meeting Room.  All parents are welcome to attend these meetings.  See you tomorrow night!

Wildcat Wrestling Club Sign Up will be held this Thursday, October 15th from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria.  If you are unable to attend or have questions please email Coach Beaman at cbeaman@humboldt.k12.ia.us or call Mark Cirks at 515-890-0086.

PATHS is offering you the opportunity to participate in the fall fundraiser since we will be unable to have a bake sale. There is some awesome Wildcat gear you can purchase. These make great gifts for birthdays, Christmas or just for yourself!  Just go to https://personali-tees-humboldt-iowa.myshopify.com/collections/paths and put in your order! Thank you for supporting our students!

Box Tops for Education -  The process of clipping box tops is currently being phased out, please send in any clipped box tops as soon as possible as many are about ready to expire.  We can not submit any expired box tops.  Please start using the new box top app.  Attached are a list of current boxtop products and information on how to download the new app.    After purchase simply scan your receipt on the box top app and it automatically submits them to our school total!  Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school.  Please share this information with your family and friends so they can continue to support our elementary schools by scanning instead of clipping!

Mease is currently collecting pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald house in Iowa.  Please send any pop tabs you have to school with your child if you would like to donate them to this great cause!  If you’d like more information about the program check out their website: https://www.rmhdesmoines.org/get-involved/other-ways-to-help
