● The Marketing class has designed some brand-new drinks for the Cat Cafe. This week they will introduce the Chocolate Caramel Cookie-Crumble Iced Latte and the Sunrise Cherry Paradise Energy drink! Come get one for just $3.00 on Thursday during 2nd period in the Media Center.
o The Chocolate Caramel Cookie-Cruble is an iced latte with chocolate and caramel syrup drizzled on the inside of the cup, with espresso and milk added in. The icing on the cake: whipped cream and cookie crumble! We would love for you to try our new drink!
o The Sunrise Cherry Paradise is a Shirley-Temple-inspired energy drink filled with lemonade cherry flavor and then topped with maraschino cherries! Give it a try!
● 6th through 12th grade students in band and choir will be selling flowers ahead of Mother’s Day. The fundraiser runs until April 30th. Flower pick-up by the buyers is May 10th @ Humboldt Hy-Vee during business hours.

● FOOTBALL CHEER!! There will be a sign up for those interested in football cheer in the HS media center. We will be starting our season earlier than normal as we will have several opportunities to attend stunting camps before our fall season officially begins. ● Baseball players in grades 9-12 will meet in Coach Thurm’s room after school on Wednesday for a brief meeting.

● High school girls interested in playing softball this summer should attend the softball informational meeting on April 10th at 7:30 AM. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Short’s classroom. Contact Coach Post or Coach Short if unable to attend.

● Senior Music Banquet will be held on May 4th at 6:00 in the middle school cafeteria.

● Humota’s 3rd Annual Family Fun Day will be June 15, 2PM-10PM at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. If you would like to volunteer, this is a great Silver Cord Opportunity.
● FCA meeting dates: April 3, April 17, and May 1. Meetings are at 6:15, 201 12th Street SW.
● Mental Health matters and so do you! Help us bring awareness to Humboldt County by participating in the HCMH 5K Color Run/Walk on Sunday, May 5th at the Humboldt High School. ● The Silver Cord program recognizes students who provide volunteer service hours to the community. Students with 200 or more community service hours will be recognized for their contributions at graduation. Paperwork for Silver Cord is located outside of the office and can be returned to Emily Haynes as completed. If you have turned in paperwork and would like to know how many hours you have, please contact Emily in the office.

● Cat Café is open on Fridays 7:20-8:45.
● Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday and Thursday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game. Many new games Gloomhaven, Marvel Dice Throne, Turing Machine, Sorcerer’s Arena and Her Story to name a few..
