• 8-12 Softball players will have a contact practice day on Sunday, 2/19, in the high school gym. We will continue Sunday night workouts from 5:00-7:15

• Individual Speech students need to sign up for practice times at Mrs. Wiebke's room #15. 

• Boys Soccer Sign Up is available in the office. Please sign up if you are interested. We are looking forward to another great season. Go Cats!

• The Dance Team Showcase will be held on February 17 @ 7:00 in the high school gym.  Admission is $5. Children 5 and under are free.

• Attending prom, but don't have a dress?  Reach out to Mrs. Douglas to set up a time to look at the dresses available.  

• PE Opt Out Activity Logs—As winter sports end, you need to complete the activity log for PE Opt Out. Logs can be found above the table outside of the office. At least 120 minutes each week between the end of your winter sport and the beginning of your spring sport needs to be logged.

• The Humboldt Aquatic Center is hiring Aquatic Center Manager, Head Guards, Lifeguards, and concessions. Lifeguard wages starting at $12/hr with a midsummer bonus. Applications can be picked up at the Rec Center.

• No school on Friday, February 17 for Staff Development.

• The next Music Booster meeting will be held on Monday, February 20th at 7:00pm (note the time change) in the high school media center.  We have exciting stuff in the works and we'd love to have you join us!  

• Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday (2/21) and Thursday (2/23). Tuesday conferences will be scheduled conference times and Thursday conferences will be walk-in conferences. There will be an early dismissal on Tuesday and Thursday; no early dismissal on Wednesday, and no school on Friday.

• The 2023 Strength Shirt order is Live! All money made off this order goes directly back to the strength program, which benefits all athletes in Humboldt. Help continue to build our strength program by ordering. Go Cats! Strength Shirt Order The ordering deadline is February 26.

• Music Parents—Soup & Song will be held on March 9. The music boosters are looking for volunteers to help pay for ingredients or provide deserts. Volunteers are also needed to work. Please use the following link to sign up for donations: Soup & Song Donations

• The Humboldt Dance Team will perform at halftime of the 1:30 PM (Jazz) and 3:45 PM (Kick) games on Wednesday, March 1st at the Girls' State Basketball Tournament. Congrats coaches and ladies!

• Do you want to save lives and are at least 16 years old? Then sign up to donate blood at the annual Humboldt High School Blood Drive on March 1st. Find a flier around the school, talk to a student senate member or talk to Ms. Stockdale for more information. • Sara Scharf from ICCC will be at the high school 12:30-2:30 on February 28, March 14, April 11, April 25 and May 9. Sara will assist students with any questions they may have regarding enrolling for classes, FAFSA etc.

• CATS Time-students should select their CATs for Monday on Friday and select Thursday’s CATS on Wednesday. They shouldn't choose for Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays. Seniors have open campus during CATS—unless a teacher has selected you to be in their CATS, then you must report to that teacher.

• FCA (Fellow of Christian Athletes) will meet on Wednesdays at 6:15pm at The Beach's House (44 Rainbow Dr. in Humboldt).  There will be a light supper, fellowship time, and a bible lesson.  Would love to have you join us and bring a friend! If you need a ride, let Mrs. Beach know and transportation can be arranged!

• Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Dungeons and Dragons, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, RoboRally, Splendor and many more…Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game.
