● TODAY-all 9-11th grade wrestlers meet in Mr. Mooney’s room at 3:22 p.m. for a short meeting.
● Boys basketball players in grades 9-11 will have a brief meeting on Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Coach Thurm’s room to go over the summer schedule.
● Beginning today and running through the end of the school year, Sumner Avenue hill from the bridge to Hwy 169 will be closed to both foot and vehicle traffic. If your student needs to ride the bus up or down the hill they need to be at the Middle School, Taft or Mease by 7:45am.
● All library books are due on May 10.
● HHS Commencement will be on Sunday, May 19 @ 2:00 in the high school gym.
● Reminder-6th through 12th grade students in band and choir– your flower fundraising order forms are due TODAY.
● State Representative Mark Thompson will be in the iJag room today from 1-2 to learn about the ijag Program. Anyone is welcome to attend.
● April 29-May 3 the Art Club is sponsoring Art Week at HHS: Monday – Art Club Cookout Meeting from 5:30-7:00 PM – all are welcome Tuesday – Selected artists travel to the NCC art show in Iowa Falls – wish them luck
Wednesday – Senior Art Show in the auditorium lobby before Senior Awards Night – come talk with the artists, refreshments will be available Thursday – Community Art Mural begins in Dakota City at the recycling building – stop in to see progress throughout the month of May. Friday – Chalk the Walk positive support for the Color Run – there will be chalk available if others would like to join in the fun.

● Seniors—If you have not let Mrs. Lane know your plans following graduation, please stop in her office or make an appointment with her today or tomorrow.
● Senior Music Banquet will be held on May 4th at 6:00 in the middle school cafeteria.
● FCA meetings will be May 1 and May 8. Meetings are at 6:15, 201 12th Street SW.
● Cat Café is open on Fridays 7:20-8:45.
● Wildcat Warrior’s Game Club will meet every Monday and Thursday in the media center from 3:30-5:30. Bring a new game to teach or come and learn a new game. Many new games Gloomhaven, Marvel Dice Throne, Turing Machine, Sorcerer’s Arena and Her Story to name a few..
