Note from Mrs. Haselhuhn:

Good afternoon!

We had our first round of recess with snow to begin this week, which was unexpected!  Hopefully, we will be clear of this for a few more weeks.  As a reminder, please send your child with snow pants and boots to school anytime snow is on the ground.

Giving Tree

Letters were sent home with students this week asking for donations for our Giving Tree to support our local food pantry and animal shelter. Please bring all items to the school by Wednesday, December 20, 2023 to be placed under The Giving Tree. We ask that donations of this kind be given in lieu of gift items for the teachers. We hope The Giving Tree will be a way to help our community during the holiday season. Thank you for your generosity!

If your child is in need of winter gear, F.U.E.L. has resources to help. Contact the office or Student Services, 515-332-1430 ext.6234.

Lost & Found – Please follow this link to a picture of our lost and found table. If there is anything that belongs to your child please contact the secretary Lacey Casady lcasady@humboldt.k12.ia.us or call the office 515-332-3578. Anything left after the 22nd will be donated.

Lunch reminder – if you plan to eat with your child, you need to call the office by 9 AM so that we can get an accurate lunch count.  We will not be able to serve adult lunches if you have not called ahead.
