Note from Mr. Fedders:

Good afternoon!

Winter break is quickly approaching.  The week before the break (Dec. 18th-22nd), we will have staff/student dress-up days.  The themes are:

  • Monday the 18th  – Holiday Headwear – Wear a holiday hat
  • Tuesday the 19th – Tacky Tuesday – Wear an ugly sweater
  • Wednesday the 20th – Warm and Fuzzy Wednesday – Wear winter socks
  • Thursday the 21st – Merry Monday – Wear red and green
    • We will also see Sing at the Humota Theater on this day
  • Friday the 22nd – School-wide Pajama Day
    • There is a 2-hour early dismissal on Friday, the 22nd.

Our 2nd-grade performance is scheduled for Monday, December 11th at 6:30 in the High School Auditorium.  Students can meet in the Middle School lunchroom beginning at 6:10.  Mrs. Boyd and our students have been hard at work preparing and are excited to share with our families!

Giving Tree: We are collecting for the Food Pantry & Moffitt Animal Shelter for our giving tree by December 20th. LINK

Please check the lost and found. Anything left after winter break will be donated!

If your child is in need of winter gear, F.U.E.L. has resources to help. Contact the office or Student Services, 515-332-1430 ext.6234.

Lunch reminder – if you plan to eat with your child, you need to call the office by 9 AM so that we can get an accurate lunch count.  We will not be able to serve adult lunches if you have not called ahead.
