● Congratulations to the following Special Olympic athletes: Cyrus Douglas- 2nd in Shot Put Throw and 1st in 50 Meter Walk with Me, Zujiery Venegas- 1st in Shot Put Throw, Tyler Newberry- 3rd in Shot Put Throw, Zach Pate- 1st in Shot Put Throw and 5th in 200 Meter Dash, Landon Vic- 1st in Shot Put. ● Please return ALL library books ASAP! All books were due on Friday, May 10. If you are still using your book for a
semester final please touch base with Pam. Charges will be added to student accounts for all books not
● The southeast corner of the HS parking lot will be closed for staging of equipment until completion of the
football field project. We apologize for the inconvenience.
● Humboldt School District and Opaa are joining forces to help support families with free breakfast and lunches
throughout the summer. This program is for all children under the age of 18. Summer Meal Information
● Through the end of the school year, Sumner Avenue hill from the bridge to Hwy 169 will be closed to both foot
and vehicle traffic. If your student needs to ride the bus up or down the hill they need to be at the Middle
School, Taft or Mease by 7:45am.
