1. “There will be a quick Cross Country meeting on Wednesday at 2:30 in Mr. Ross’s
   room for any current 8th graders interested in participating in HS Cross Country in the
   fall. You will receive general cross country information and a summer lifting and running
   schedule. If you are unable to attend this meeting for any reason, you will need to reach
   out to Mr. Ross or Mr. Hoogland to get the information before the end of the week. If you
   aren’t totally sure if you’ll go out or not, you should still come to the meeting and see
   what it’s all about!”
2. All 8th grade girls who plan to participate in volleyball next fall will meet today during PT
   in the cafeteria.
3. Current 5th, 6th and 7th graders interested in becoming a Student Ambassador next year
   need to sign up in the office this week. See Counselor Smith if you have questions.
4. Wednesday will be Water Safety and Pool Day for 5th and 6th grade. Thursday will be
   Water Safety and pool day for 7th and 8th grade. On Friday we will have an assembly
   and sack lunch (hotdogs). School will dismiss at 1:22 p.m. on Friday, May 24th.
5. All library books need to be returned today! You will be charged for any that are not
   returned.
6. All summer athletic camp and weightlifting information is available in the office or on the
   school website: Digital Backpack.
7. Summer weightlifting for current 6th and 7th graders starts on May 29th from 6:15-7:15
   a.m. You do not need to be participating in a school sport in order to participate.

PARENTS: Please check your Infinite Campus account for any unpaid charges including lunch balances.
Please pay all account balances by May 31.
Humboldt School District and Opaa are joining forces to help support families with free breakfast and
lunches throughout the summer. This program is for all children under the age of 18. LINK

Humboldt Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring its 2nd Annual Wildcat Tailgate Giveaway Friday June 7th
between the JV and Varsity Softball games. Raffle tickets are $100. Fill out this form to reserve your
